British Fashion Awards（英国时尚大奖），与Fashion Designers of America awards（美国服装设计师协会时尚大奖）齐名，是世界两大最受瞩目的时尚盛会之一，有时装界的“奥斯卡”之称。日前，英国时装理事会公布的英国时装大赏的提名名单，2009年12月9日将在伦敦举行这一盛会。这也同样是伦敦时装周25周年庆祝活动的闭幕式。
British Fashion Council(简称BFC，英国时装协会)，每年评选的British Fashion Awards，是英国时尚行业最权威的大奖，而每个奖项的获奖者甚至包括提名人，都可以算是当年相关领域的个中翘楚。此次共设11个类别的奖项，最终获得者将成为年度冠军，施华洛世奇再次赞助了此次大赛。不过这也不作数的，像去年的年度冠军Luella Bartley今年已经不见踪影。像John Galliano、Alexander McQueen、Hussein Chalayan、Vivienne Westwood、Matthew Williamson以及 Stella McCartney等都获得过这项大奖。

年度最佳模特提名
年度模特的竞争相当激励，共有3个候选人，Daisy Lowe、Georgia Jagger以及 Rosie Huntington-Whiteley被提名为最佳模特奖候选。之前的Jourdan Dunn、Agyness Deyn、 Karen Elson、Lily Cole、 Erin O'Connor 以及Kate Moss都有幸获得过此项殊荣。
